Week 21
You know you are a homeschooling family when a box of math manipulatives arrives in the mail and the children happily spend several hours playing with math cubes and a hundreds board!
Reading
Miriam finished lesson 11 in Explode the Code 3 and through lesson 103 in The Ordinary Parents Guide to Teaching Reading. She finished reading The Fire Cat to me and also read The Horse in Harry's Room this week. I finished reading Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle aloud to the girls- they can't wait to start Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle's Magic next week.Math
Miriam did through exercise 6 in the Singapore subtraction section. She also completed through lesson 60 in Rightstart Math.Bible
This week we continued reading about Jesus' life. The girls memorized Psalm 33:3Preschool
Rebekah finished the letter k in Getting Ready for the Code and did through lesson 2.12 in Singapore Earlybird. She also completed lessons 3 and 4 in Rightstart Math A.

We just learned about Mrs. Piggle Wiggle and will be getting the books soon. Looks great!
We love Mrs. Piggle Wiggle here too! We know we are a hs family too--my kids love math manipulatives and other odd "toys"!
The math manipulatives look like such fun! And Mrs. Piggle Wiggle was my favorite when I was little, it's great to see others enjoying it too. :-)
